Aaron Rodgers Speaks On Packers Drafting Jordan Love, Says He Wasn’t “Thrilled” With The Pick

Aaron Rodgers publicly spoke for the first time since the Green Bay Packers made the decision to draft Utah State QB Jordan Love in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

“The general reaction, at first, was surprise, like many people,” he said. “Not going to say I was thrilled by the pick, necessarily. But I understand the organization is not thinking just about the present, but the future and I respect that.”

Rodgers also has no problem helping Love in his development:

The 36-year-old Rodgers is entering his 15th season in the NFL.
