Anti-Redskins Ad Will Air During The NBA Finals

A California Native American Tribe has paid for airtime to air their anti-Redskins advertisement called “Proud to Be”. It will run in seven major cities during halftime of Game 3.

The ad, which originally aired online during the Super Bowl, will be aired for the first time in front of a wide-range of sports fans.

The ad will air in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Sacramento, San Francisco and Washington on Tuesday night. It ran in Miami during the halftime of game 2 on Sunday.

Needless to say, this battle between Native Americans and the Washington Redskins franchise is being taken to the next level.

Should the Washington Redskins change their name? Let us know with a comment at the bottom!
