If this seems like a broken record, you’re not alone. This man couldn’t pull out of a driveway if he tried.
Current NFL free agent and record-holder for most babies created during their NFL career (that stat started as a joke, yet it highly factual) Antonio Cromartie welcomed his 11th & 12th child into the world on Monday, via his wife Terricka Cromartie.
According to US Weekly, Jynx Revell-Antonio Cromartie was born about five minutes before his twin sister, J’adore Nayvi Cromartie, a rep for the stars tells Us. Jynx weighed in at 5 pounds, 12 ounces, and measured 19 inches, while J’adore was 5 pounds, 8 ounces, and 19 inches at birth. Now the names aren’t the most common of such, but when you’re on your 12th kid, there’s probably not too many places too look; you have to be creative.
The proud parents noted they were “doing great and extremely excited.”
The couple married in November 2008 and already have two children together, daughter Jurzie, 5, and son Jagger, 3. This birth was revealed by the couple back in February, revealing they were expecting a son and a daughter within the next couple months.
It’s safe to say the 27-year-old cornerback is known around the NFL for the amount of kids he has rather than his play on the field. How many kids exactly? Eight, all from previous relationships of course.
Cromartie has to pay $366,000 per year in child support (3,500 per month, per child), and when being interviewed a few years back by HardKnocks, infamously has trouble reciting the names of all his children. Even more insane, Cromartie has had a vasectomy, which should have rid the ability of having children from him.”I really thought I was dreaming, even after, I was just in total disbelief,” she told Us.
Cromartie and his wife also told US Weekly that despite their latest additions being a huge surprise, both Antonio, 27, and his wife consider their babies a huge blessing, and have some straight talking words for anybody who wants to criticize.
“It took me a while to process it,” Terricka, 28, admitted of her most recent pregnancy, “but Antonio stood firm and was saying, ‘It’s God’s will.’ And he’s been excited the whole time.”
“To be honest, I’ve gone back and forth about if I wanted to share the news or not,” she explained to Us. “All my children are blessings and all of Antonio’s children are blessings, for that matter. It was made to seem that my children weren’t a blessing because they were categorized by a number, and for that reason and that reason alone, I hid both of my [first two] pregnancies with my husband, just so I could enjoy them with those who were really happy for me.”
