Has the time finally come? Do we finally see Colin Kaepernick get a job in the NFL as he rightfully deserves?
It’s been a long time coming, but there finally seems like there could be a good fit for the former 49ers quarterback.
The team that defeated Colin Kaepernick in Super Bowl 47 could be calling the quarterback after the team’s recent injury to their starter:
#Ravens QB Joe Flacco is preparing to miss 3-6 wks with a disc issue in his back. Out at least a week or 2, sources tell me & @TomPelissero.

That’s right, the Baltimore Ravens:
Harbaugh said he has been talking to Colin Kaepernick throughout summer. They’re exploring signing him

Harbaugh said signing Kaepernick depends on what Kaepernick wants to do. Ravens are interested. They’re planning on bringing in another QB

The fit makes sense.
Obviously, Kaepernick wouldn’t be the starter in Baltimore but given the injury to Joe Flacco, it gives Kaepernick an opportunity to put some film on tape for a team that might be reluctant to sign the 29-year-old.
Kaepernick also has strong ties to the Ravens organization as well:
Joe Flacco will miss time with a back injury — if only there was a guy with ties to Greg Roman and/or John Harbaugh https://t.co/BtujBjukWJ pic.twitter.com/t7i3tVnwa9

Whether or not the Ravens sign Kaepernick is to be determined (they should), it does seem like the quarterback’s market is starting to pick up as some thought it would.
