Perhaps The Most Impressive Streak In NFL History Ended Last Night For The Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears suffered two losses Monday night, one during the coin toss and one four quarters after it.

Why does this mean anything at all?

Ending perhaps the most improbable and unique streak in NFL history, the Bears lost the coin toss for the first time in 14 straight flips.

The likelihood of winning a coin toss 14 times in a row?

1 in 16,384.

The probability of winning a coin toss 15 times in a row is double that, 1 in 32,768. The Bears just came up short.

The streak dates back four games this season, four preseason games, and five coin tosses last season.

At least the Bears are good at something.
