NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger was a guest on 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia and made some controversial remarks regarding Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott.

Baldinger, a former offensive lineman, spent 11 seasons in the NFL with the Cowboys, Colts and Eagles suggested that Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz put a bounty on rookie sensation Ezekiel Elliott:

Elliott who leads the NFL in rushing has been amazing for the Dallas Cowboys so far, rushing for 703 yards and five touchdowns; He’s been virtually unstoppable.

The NFL came down hard on the New Orleans Saints in 2012 after the bounty program the ran under then defensive cordinator Gregg Williams.

Baldinger also echoed a famous quote from Williams, “You want to cut off the head to kill the body, that’s the guy you’ve got to get to.”

It’ll be very interesting to see how the NFL responds to these comments made by someone they employ on their Network.
