Antonio Brown Finally Finds New Helmet That He Likes

The Antonio Brown helmet saga is officially over.

After nearly a half year of searching for a new helmet following the league mandating he find a new one, the Raiders WR has finally found a new helmet that he feels comfortable wearing this season.

The Xenith Shadow will be the lid Brown wears when he takes the field for Week 1, with the two inking an endorsement deal for him to wear the model after ‪the Schutt Air Advantage, a helmet he worse since high school, was outlawed due to league safety regulations. 

Xenith underwent testing and certification in order to have Brown wear be able to wear it in the NFL.

“It’s not easy to make a change like this so far into your career, but the Xenith Shadow was the only helmet that could fit my needs on the field, Brown said in an announcement. 

Some of Browns teammates had some jokes for him and his new funky helmet, shown on HBO’s newest episode of Hard Knocks.
