Blake Bortles will be coming off the bench Thursday night when the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Carolina Panthers in their third preseason game. Chad Henne, who hasn’t played since 2014, was named the starter, which brings us to even bigger news – that Chad Henne is still in the NFL.

Last week the Jaguars were so uncertain with who would be their QB going into the season due to the regression of 3rd year QB Blake Bortles, they literally listed a question mark under who would be starting under center.
It appears it’s now Chad Henne’s job to win.
According to First Coast News, both quarterbacks were made aware of the decision Wednesday at the team hotel.
Henne hasn’t started a regular season game since Bortles replaced him in Week 4 of the 2014 campaign. He has only played one regular season snap in the last two years combined.
