The Broncos push for the playoff took a potentially catastrophic hit Wednesday when Emmanuel Sanders went down with an achilles tendon injury during the team’s practice.

The star WR had to be assisted off of the practice field after going down making a cut during a route. Sanders was reportedly not being able to put weight on the leg in question.
Denver7’s Troy Renck, who was at practice when the injury occurred, noted Sanders “was upset when happened, tossing his helmet to the side.”
The team will undergo further tests to confirm the initial diagnosis.
Through ten games, the dynamic Sanders had put up 868 yards on 71 catches with four touchdowns.
