Carolina Panthers Sign XFL Standout QB PJ Walker

After the remainder of the inaugural XFL season was cancelled last week due to Coronavirus, the league gave teams permission to be signed by the NFL if the opportunity came about.

That’s what has happened to XFL standout PJ Walker, who was scooped up by the Carolina Panthers Monday.

After giving Cam Newton permission to seek a trade, Carolina signed Teddy Bridgewater, whom Walker will backup alongside Kyle Allen.

Walker was on pace the be the XFL’s MVP, throwing 15 touchdowns with only 4 interceptions for 1338 yards for the Houston Roughnecks.
