BREAKING: Drew Brees Leaves Game vs Rams With Hand Injury

Oh boy, another veteran quarterback goes down with an injury.

During the first quarter of Sunday’s NFC Championship Game rematch between the Rams and Saints in Los Angeles, QB Drew Brees suffered a hand injury that was serious enough to knock him out of the game:

Saints QB Drew Brees has been removed from the game after he hit his throwing hand on the hand of Aaron Donald during a pass rush.

The injury happened after Rams’ Aaron Donald hit Brees hand, trying to bat down a pass.

Brees was replaced by Teddy Bridgwater:
