Well, luckily for Giants fans, Jason Garrett will not be the next head coach in New York.
After a report that the G-Men had requested permission to interview former Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett, Adam Schefter is now reporting that the Giants have their man, former Patriots WR coach Joe Judge.
New York Giants are finalizing a deal to make Patriots’ wide receivers coach Joe Judge their next head coach, league sources tell ESPN. Deal was in the works as of last night, which is another reason Matt Rhule took the Panthers’ HC job.

Replacing Pat Shurmur, Judge worked his way up the ranks from 2005 where he was a graduate assistant to his alma mater Mississippi State Bulldogs to a special assistant to Alabama and then the Patriots, where he was promoted to special teams coordinator and eventually into WRs coach while still managing the special teams units.
