Raiders RB Marshawn Lynch Officially Retires

The Raiders are entering the 2019 NFL Draft Thursday with a plethora of draft picks and it’s likely they’ll have to use one of them on a running back.

After two seasons in Oakland playing for his hometown team, Marshawn Lynch is hanging it up, this time for good.

Lynch, 33, first retired in February of 2016 after his tenure with the Seahawks, taking a year off and then applying for reinstatement a year later and joining the Raiders.

Isaiah Crowell, Jalen Richard, DeAndre Washington and Chris Warren now occupy the Raiders backfield.
