Talib was treated at Medical City Hospital. A spokeswoman at the hospital says that Talib was discharged Sunday.

The Dallas area is home for Talib.

This is not Talib’s first incident involving a shooting. In 2011, while then a member of the Buccaneers, Talib allegedly fired a gun at his sister’s boyfriend. Though the man was not injured, Talib was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. That charge was later dropped.

Last year he was involved in another altercation, along with his brother, at a Dallas nightclub. An employee at that club, LUXX, told police that someone fired a shot in the air in an attempt to break up a fight. Talib was questioned by police and his car was towed to be examined for evidence. He was never charged in that incident.
