The Saints/Broncos game Sunday went down with some theatrics and a whole lot of controversy.
With the Saints kicking a PAT, that if converted, would have given them the lead with about a minute remaining, the Broncos blocked it and retuned it for a score worth two points. Only problem, it appeared as if the returner stepped out of bounds.
Though the play was reviewed, the crew determined that he kept his foot in and there was not enough evidence to overturn the call.
Even Broncos players on the sideline know how bad the call way, getting caught on camera saying, “That’s a terrible call, his foot was out of bounds,” with linebacker Shane Ray, confidently responding, “oh yeah.”
