One of the most memorable games this NFL season was the Wildcard round game in Minnesota where the Vikings and Seahawks did battle. The game was unforgettable for two reasons: Blair Walsh’s shanked kick that would have won it, and the historically frigid temperatures that hovered around 9 degrees at game time.

Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor videoed his fingers Saturday, weeks after that game was played and posted it to his Instagram account, showing off his still frost-bitten hands which include severely blistered and wrinkled fingers and knuckles.

Luckily for Chancellor, the frost bite was only superficial, meaning it occurred at skin level and did not reach the muscle or bone, to which amputation may be necessary.
