Making his debut Thursday night against the Patriots in the Panthers’ third preseason game, Newton was forced to leave after suffering a foot injury that occurred while being sacked late in the first quarter.
And now Cam Newton’s left foot is being evaluated on the sideline.

Newton was seen limping to the team bus on his way out of Gillette Stadium in a walking boot.
