UConn Huskies CB Byron Jones Breaks NFL Combine Broad Jump Record

Former Connecticut Huskies cornerback Byron Jones is not human.

Jones showed off his athleticism at the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine on Monday when he blew the field away with a 12’3″ broad jump, which broke the previous combine record by eight inches. 

The 6’1″, 199-pound defensive back was a four-year starter at Connecticut also wow’d the crowd and fellow competitors with his vertical leaping ability:  

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Jones won’t be showcasing his speed to along with his freakish athleticism as he is still recovering from surgery. Daniel Jeremiah, who also works for NFL Network, gave us great insight on Byron Jones in his draft scouting report:
