With both the Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers pushing for new stadiums (which hasn’t been a successful endeavor for either) have proposed the plan of joining forces for a potential shared stadium in Carson, California, located about 30 minutes outside downtown LA. Previous renders we have seen of concept stadiums have all been featured downtown, near the Staples Center, which would obviously be expensive, but talk about a prime location.
Sam Farmer of the Los Angeles Times reported Thursday night that the Chargers and Raiders are still pursuing solutions that would see them remain where they are, but they’re also toying around with the idea of a $1.7 billion stadium they’d co-own close to Los Angeles.
