Chiefs Player Celebrates Super Bowl Win By Paying Adoption Fees For Shelter Dogs

Different players celebrate a Super Bowl win in different ways, but we haven’t found one better than what Derrick Nnadi had in store.

After the Chiefs defensive tackle helped his team win the Super Bowl LIV title in Miami on Sunday, the KC Pet Project announced that Nnadi would be paying the adoption fees for every single dog they have.

Nnadi has had a partnership with the shelter all season long that has culminated with him allowing Missourians to adopt a furry friend free of charge.

The fees for 91 dogs were paid, with 20 dogs having already been adopted already.

Good on you, Derrick.
