The Cleveland Browns logo may be as flat as their team. With a static helmet, colored well orange, their logo has been one of the worst in sports, definitely football.
Team management decided it was time for a change this year, announcing plans to redesign the logo earlier this year. Today, they were unveiled. The new logo will be well, basically the same, with changes coming to the color of the face mask, as well as the signature orange, which now has a vibrant upgrade. The secondary dawg logo’s redesign which is a fan favorite fell flat on its face though, and by the looks of it perhaps literally.
The Brown’s team website states “Our updated helmet logo is reflective of today’s modern Cleveland – the design honors the past while evolving into the future. The iconic brown and white stripes stand tall over the orange helmet – a new orange color that matches the passion of the Dawg Pound. The new brown facemask represents the strength and toughness of Cleveland.”
