Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Donte Moncrief showed us what it really means to have your brother’s back.
Moncrief plans to help support the daughter of Zurlon Tipton, a former teammate of his with the Colts. The running back was killed after accidentally shooting and killing himself back in June.
The WR noted he was painfully with his own daughter when he learned about his good friend of two season’s death. Moncrief also has family back in the hometown of Tipton.
Tipton attended Central Michigan and was picked up by the Colts as an un-drafted free-agent in 2014.
According to Sports Illustrated, Moncrief credits his Southern upbringing for the gesture of kindness. He will help Tipton’s daughter, Zoe, economically and see her at the team’s Week 1 game against the Detroit Lions at Lucas Oil Stadium.
