Colts P Pat McAfee Explains How Worst Play In NFL History Was Supposed To Work

We’re pretty sure half the world’s seen this play by now. Dubbed “the worst play in NF history,” the Colt’s lined up in an extremely odd and extremely illegal formation to where they had a WR snap the ball to another non quarterback only to get tackled for a loss and turn the ball over on downs.

It left fans, especially those who rep the Colts, dumbfounded for days. But now, we have clarification. Colts punter Pat McAfee explained how the play was actually genius, but a miscommunication issue led to a sequence of events which sent the play haywire. Listen here:
