Cowboys Get Cheated By Refs vs Patriots, Called For “Tripping” Twice Late In Game

The Patriots squeezed out an ugly win against the Cowboys in a rainy New England, and many feel as Dallas was robbed out of a chance of a comeback thanks to two abslutel ticky-tack ‘tripping’ penalties.

Both Tryon Smith and Travis Fredrick were called for sticking their feet out to impede the advancement of Patriots pass rushers, when one had a defender dive into his knees, and the other simply lifted his leg off the ground and turned to seemingly avoid a tripping penalty.

Keep in mind that through thousands of snaps, there had only been three tripping penalties called all season. Two were called against the Cowboys in the 4th quarter Sunday night.
