Dallas Cowboys LB Damien Wilson Arrested For Aggravated Assault With Deadly Weapon

Here we go again.

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Damien Wilson, who is slated to be a starter on the team, was arrested on Tuesday night in Frisco, Texas and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in a parking  lot outside Frisco’s Toyota Stadium.

Police were called  to the scene at about 8:10 P.M. on Tuesday during the Frisco Freedom Fest Celebration, according to a Frisco police spokesperson.

Wilson was taken to the Frisco jail and released after posting bond. Each charge carried a $10,000.00 bond.

Police haven’t released the details on what led to Wilson’s arrested.

Toyota Stadium hosted a FC Dallas soccer game and a fireworks show Tuesday night.  The soccer match was going on inside the stadium when Wilson was arrested in the parking lot.

Wilson, was the team’s fourth round pick in 2015, started six games last season, recording 34 tackles.

Wilson missed some of training camp last season after suffering an eye injury while playing paintball.

This news is yet another dark light on the Cowboys, who have a history of having players getting into legal trouble.

Last week, defensive end David Irving was suspended for the first four games of the 2017 season for violating the league’s performance enhancing substances policy.
