Remember when everyone boo’d Daniel Jones when he was picked with the No. 6 overall pick by the New York Giants in last April’s 2019 Draft?
After a historic rookie debut, where he became the first quarterback since the AFL-NFL merger to throw for and rush for two touchdowns a piece and leading the Giants back from an 18-point halftime deficit, Jones has become a king in New York.
Nothing has shown that more than this incredible stat about his jersey sales.
Via Michael McCarthy of FrontOfficeSports, Fanatics sold more Jones’ jerseys in a two-hour period on Sunday than they did the entire day for any other player, other than Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes.
Jones still has a lot to prove but Giants fans should be thrilled with early returns on their rookie QB, regardless how they felt about him on Draft night.
