DeAndre Hopkins Makes Catch Of The Preseason With One-Handed Grab

This did not end in a touchdown, but it was still one heck of an effort by Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

In the first quarter of Sunday’s preseason game, Hopkins did everything he could to fight through defensive pass interference by New Orleans Saints cornerback Keenan Lewis while trying to make a catch in the end zone. He used his right hand to haul in the pass and then somehow got both feet down with the defender all over him.

However, it appears as though transferring the ball to his left hand cost Hopkins the catch. It was ruled an incomplete pass, and upon further review, the call on the field stood. On the plus side, the Texans got the ball on the 1-yard line as a result of the penalty.
