The Dolphins haven’t played a meaningful snap of football in 2017 and have already lost two starters in the two most important positions on the field.
Miami’s season was put in limbo last week after starting QB Ryan Tannehill went down with a knee injury during training camp.
The Dolphins’ defense was expected to make up for the loss, but that is now also in question, as the team’s 2nd-round draft pick Raekwon McMillian went down with a torn ACL on the very first play of his NFL career. McMillian was named the team’s Week 1 starter at middle linebacker, an already thin position for the Dolphins.
I can confirm the Dolphins believe rookie LB Raekwon McMillan tore his ACL, as @thewiwitos reported.

McMillian injured himself after awkwardly colliding with a teammate while in special team’s coverage, and was on the field for several minutes after going down.
