During the second quarter of the Dolphins-Ravens game on Thursday night, Joe Flacco scrambled to the right side in attempt to get the first down, eventually giving himself up via a slide. Immediately after going to the ground, Miami LB Kiko Alonso gave flying in with a shoulder to the head of Flacco, leaving the Ravens QB dazed.

Alsono was not only greeted by a few Baltimore offensive lineman, but also by Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, who came flying in to confront him.
Flacco was escorted into the locker room before the next play to undergo concussion protocol. He needed stitches as well.
Though he was assessed a penalty but not ejected, it’s likely Alonso will receive a fine if not a suspension from the league for the hit.
