At this point, there’s no question Joe Burrow will be taken with the #1 overall pick in this year’s upcoming NFL Draft, but to whom it willbe too may still be in limbo.
The Bengals currently own the first pick after beating out the Dolphins in their own game of tanking last season, and though they’re in need of a QB and have expressed interest in Burrow, the Dolphins may try to pry him away from Cincinnati.
According to the Miami Herald’s Armando Salguero, Miami has interest in trading up for the LSU quarterback come draft day.
Via the Miami Herald –
“They’re making moves and spending money but people within the organization remain focused on the goal of drafting a quarterback in the first round of the 2020 draft.
The Dolphins want to trade up to grab Joe Burrow with the first overall selection, if possible. They will make that attempt.”
Tua Tagovailoa and Justin Herbert will be targeted by the ‘Phins if the offer falls through.
Burrow has arguably the greatest season by a quarterback ever last year, snagging the Heisman Trophy, the National Championship trophy and even the National Championship game MVP award.
