Eagles CB Ronald Darby Says He Was In Uber With Jameis Winston, Calls Allegations False

Last week, it was reported that Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston was under investigation of yet another sexual assault claim, just as he did back at Florida State and this time, it involved an Uber driver.

The Uber driver claimed Winston, who was sitting on the front seat, took her hand and grabbed her crotch for a few seconds before she forcefully removed it.

The Uber driver also claimed Winston was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the assault.

Philadelphia Eagles and former Florida State Seminole cornerback Ronald Darby called the allegations bulls*t because he claims that he and one other person were in the vehicle with Jameis during that night.

According to Jay Glazer:

“I felt the need to come forward and clarify some inaccurate accounts of the evening of March 13, 2016 when myself, a friend and Jameis Winston took an Uber ride in Arizona. There were three of us in the car, not just one as has been reported. Myself and Jameis were in the backseat. I am confident that nothing inappropriate in nature happened in the car that evening and Jameis did not have any physical contact with the Uber driver. The accusations are are just not true.”

On Friday, the NFL sent a letter to the accuser, stating they would be looking into the incident, a claim that Winston strongly denied in a since released statement.
