Regardless if he plays another down in the NFL or not, Nick Foles will forever go down as a legend in the city of Philadelphia.

After Foles stepped in for an injured Carson Wentz and helped deliver a Lombardi Trophy to the Philadelphia Eagles, fans have been thinking of different ways to show their appreciation for him.

One particular Eagles fan decided to start a petition on ‘Change.org‘ to rename a street in Philadelphia after him:

The petition is directed towards city mayor Jim Kenney and Philadelphia City Council to name 9th street in Center City to “Nick Foles Way” in honor of the Eagles quarterback.

The petition reads as follows:

“Saint Nicholas Edward Foles is a goddamn Philadelphia treasure. His feats in Superbowl 52, overcoming adversity and out-dueling the CHOKE Tom Brady, is the stuff of legend. Saint Nick will never die. Therefore, he must be immortalized in Philadelphia history. While we, the undersigned, would prefer a statue of him be placed on top of City Hall, at the lectern in Independence Hall, and at the top of the steps of the Art Museum, we will settle for renaming 9th St. “Nick Foles Way”.

Mayor Kenney and Philadelphia City Council, make it so. Target date: opening day 2018.”

Right now, the petition has 384 signatures.
