If you turned on the television in the third quarter of Cowboys-Eagles, you may have been confused to see a 225lb. linebacker kicking off for Philadelphia.
That was a result from Eagles kicker Jake Elliott being forced to be taken out of the game to be evaluated for a head injury following a tackle he made on the opening kickoff of the game.
Following Elliott being ruled out of the game, linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill, the Eagles third string emergency kicker entered the game and boomed a kickoff to the opposing goal line.
