Ex-49ers Coach Mike Singletary Steps Down As High School Coach After Going 1-21 In Two Seasons

Mike Singletary might be the only coach in the history of football that found coaching against NFL teams easier than high school ones.

The former 49ers head man stepped down as the football coach of the Texas high school Trinity Christian Academy-Addison on Thursday after going a combined 1-21 in two seasons at the school, including a winless season in 2019.

Singletary coached in San Francisco from 2008-2010 after taking over for Mike Nolan, going a mediocre 18-22 during his tenure.
