To say Joseph Randle’s is nothing short of an idiot. The once, not too long ago Dallas Cowboys running back who seemed to have a bright future has gotten himself in a handful of trouble over the past few years.

The latest? Randle’s latest charge is that of threatening a Kansas jail deputy.

According to the Wichita Eagle, an arrest affidavit released Monday claims Randle threatened a Sedgwick County, Kan., jail deputy’s life after he was denied a phone call on May 14 while incarcerated.

“I will kill you I swear on my life and everything that I have I will kill you when I get out,” Randle repeated several times after being denied a call around 8 p.m., the affidavit says.

The detective writing the affidavit noted “The threat was made in a very aggressive manner by yelling them.”

Randle was allegedly denied the call after turning down a phone opportunity from jail earlier in the day.

The formers back remains locked up on $50,000 in bonds, according to the Eagle, at one point managed to get arrested six times in an 18-month span. He was released by the Cowboys in the middle of the 2015 season.

Randle’s most notable headline during that stint came off the field when he stole underwear and cologne from a Dilliard’s.
He also spent more than a week in jail in February after an arrest on charges of aggravated battery, criminal damage and possession of marijuana. On Feb. 21st, police say Randle struck people with his car after an argument ensued at a housewarming party in southeast Wichita. Randle was also arrested in Irving on a speeding charge in the same year.

Needless to say, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was concerned about the mental health of Randle upon him being cut from the team.
