The Kansas City Chiefs are advancing to Super Bowl LIV because they were able to do what the Patriots and Ravens couldn’t: Stop Derrick Henry.
They Chiefs held Derrick Henry to just 69 yards on the ground in the Chiefs 35-24 win in the AFC Championship Game. They echoed their play after Chiefs’ DE Frank Clark’s comments about stopping Derrick Henry earlier in the week.
Following the victory, Clark went on a tirade about sending Henry and the Titans “home” in an expletive filled rant that saw him drop numerous curse words:
