There’s no denying that rivalry games are as emotional as they get regardless if it’s the SEC, B1G Ten or even the Ivy League.
And sometimes, the emotions get the best of players and they end up doing something they will regret and that’s exactly what happened during Saturday’s Harvard-Yale game at Fenway Park.
Harvard running back Devin Darrington broke loose for what looked like a 27-yard touchdown on first-and-10 to give the Crimson a 34-27 lead early in the fourth quarter.
But when you look at the replay again, Darrington is seen throwing his middle finger at the Yale defender chasing him as he ran into the end zone:

While Harvard settled for a field goal on that drive, it eventually beat Yale 45-27 and moved to 6-4 on the season.
