Helmet Manufacturer Xenith Ends Partnership With Antonio Brown

Helmet manufacturer Xenith announced on Friday that it was ending it’s working relationship with New England Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter:

Antonio Brown spent much of training camp fighting with the NFL over his preferred helmet of choice, the Schutt Air Advantage. Once, he lost the grievance, Brown announced on Sept. 4 that he had choose to wear the Xenith Shadow for the 2019 season.

Many believe the breakup is due to the recent rape lawsuit that was filed against Brown this past week. The league has chosen not to place Brown on the exempt list at this time.

Brown is expected to make his season debut on Sunday when the Patriots travel to Miami to take on the Dolphins.
