High School Football Team Cancels Season After Getting Blown Out 102-0 In First Two Games

The Healdsburg High Greyhounds could have been spotted more than 40 points by their opponents to start each of their two games, and they would still be 0-2.

That’s exactly why the high school football team out of Healdsburg, California is literally cancelling their season after losing 102-0 in their first two games.

Behind the school AD and coach Dave Stine, the Greyhounds let their players take a vote Friday, an ultimately decided that losing 41-0 and then 61-0 was an road they didn’t want to continue down for the rest of the year.

That choice was made by six players who left the team after the second game, giving the Greyhounds a barely serviceable team.

The vote came back 7-4 to hang it up for the year.
