Jason Garrett Is Still Trying To Convince Jerry Jones To Keep Him As The Cowboys HC Interview Other Candidates

This situation continues to get bizarre day-by-day.

On Saturday, it was reported that the Dallas Cowboys aren’t expected to come to a decision on the status of Jason Garrett but despite that, the Cowboys started a head coaching search, interviewing Marvin Lewis and Mike McCarthy.

Cowboys are also meeting with former Bengals’ HC Marvin Lewis today, per @toddarcher. So Mike McCarthy and Marvin Lewis both today.

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reports that Garrett is pleading with Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones to consider keeping him as the team’s head coach in what Glazer said is “something he’s never seen before”:
