Jeff Fisher Sends Rams Players All Traded for Robert Griffin III Out For Coin Toss

Many may remember that the only reason why the Redskins were able to draft then Baylor QB RGIII in the 2012 draft was of the picks they acquired via trade from the St. Louis Rams to move up on the board. St. Louis traded the No. 2 overall pick in the draft to Washington in exchange for three first-round picks and a second-round pick. By the time all of the trades and picks were made, Washington drafted Robert Griffin III and the Rams got six players out of the deal.

Rams’ head coach Jeff Fischer took trolling to a new level today when the Rams and Redskins met today, sending out all of those players for the pre-game coin toss. The Rams had the last laugh as well, as the shut out the skins at home, 27-0.

That trade was commemorated in a special way in Week 14. Washington hosted St. Louis on Sunday, so Fisher saw that as an opportunity to troll his opponent.

Here’s a video of the players shaking hands after the toss. Surely the Redskins players noticed the arrangement of players:

Jeff Fisher dosen’t smile much, but for sure he was smiling inside during this one.
