President Donald Trump recently called for NFL owners to force their players to stand during the National Anthem, and as of now, two have followed.
Both the Cowboys and Redskins, owned by jerry Jones and Dan Snyder respectively, have reportedly put a rule in place stating their must stand for the anthem or they will not play.
Jerry Jones just said any Cowboys player who “disrespects the flag” won’t be allowed to play.

There is currently no league-wide rule stating players must do so, contrary to the NBA, which does have such a rule in place. Commissioner Roger Goodell has been adamant about keeping a policy where players have a right to stand or sit in place.
