Indianapolis Colt’s owner Jim Irsay was arrested late Sunday night by Carmel police on preliminary charges of driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance [prescription pills] according to police.
According to Lt. Joe Bickel of the Carmel Police Department, Irsay allegedly drove at a slow rate of speed then proceeded to stop in the road, and then failed to signal a turn before police pulled him over. He then noted that Irsay failed numerous roadside sobriety tests.
Jim Irsay now finds himself facing 4 felony counts of possession of controlled substances.
