Josh McCown has always been a tough quarterback. The journeyman backup who’s shown flashes of starting potential went down with a shoulder injury last Sunday while filling in for the injured RGIII. His postgame the following day went viral, one that shows him spilling his emotions about trying to set an example for his two boys and wanting to be “out there” with his “guys”.

McCown was expected to miss 2-4 weeks, but the warrior of a QB had other plans. The 37-year-old reportedly begged the team to play today vs the Dolphins while injured with a fractured clavicle, wanting to wear a shoulder brace under his pads.
#Browns QB Josh McCown is a tough dude. He fought to harness the left shoulder and play today, even with the pain. Team said no.

Playing or not, McCown is returning to Miami where he played quarterback for a few years earlier in his career.
