There has been no player in Minnesota sports history that has as big of an impact on the state’s sports history than Kevin Garnett. The 38-year-old has returned to the team that drafted him, and Minnesota T’Wolves’ fans made him feel like he never left on Wednesday night.
Prior to the start of the T-Wolves’ game against the Washington Wizards, Minnesota had a special introduction montage to welcome back their “son”. The Timberwolves had drafted KG with the No. 5 overall pick in the 1995 NBA Draft.
The fans also gave The Big Ticket a standing ovation.
