Lil’ Wayne Claps Back At Eli Manning: “The Way You Playing, You Should Listen To My Music”

Over the weekend, Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. created a firestorm when he sat down for an interview with ESPN along side rapper Lil’ Wayne. In the interview, OBJ publicly criticized the Giants energy heart in addition to throwing some shade at QB Eli Manning when asked if he was a part of the Giants offensive problems.

When asked about his thoughts of the interview, Eli Manning responded by saying:

“I don’t watch Lil Wayne much, so I missed a lot of it.”

Eli’s comments caused a serious of posts from Weezy in response to Eli’s comments. Lil’ Wayne posted this six minute long video of himself smoking a blunt and address the situation:

Wanye also seemed particularly hurt by the response of Eli, who claimed that he didn’t pay attention to the Tha Carter V rapper.

“I’m the first one to back you up. I tell people ‘He got two rings before his brother,'” he said. “And here you talk about ‘I don’t watch Lil Wayne much.’

“I don’t care what you watch…You ain’t got to do me like that,” Wayne said. “I fucks with you, Eli. It’s all good. You ain’t got to watch much of me, but you can listen if you could. You probably need to the way you’ve been playing. You probably need to bang some Carter V before a game. Just a consideration.”

In addition to responding to Manning, Wayne spent the majority of the interview going after New York reporter Frank Isola, who basically said that no one should take the Louisiana rapper seriously:

“Frank, come on. I know you up there in New York. I know a bit about New York. I spent a little time up there on island called Riker’s Island,” he said. “I don’t know much about you, though. And the fact is, you don’t know much about me. With that said, keep my name out your mouth.”

It seems like the Giants took Wayne’s suggestion into account. The Giants were definitely playing a Carter track at practice:

I’m totally ready for an Eli vs Lil’ Wayne beef.
