In case you’re having a hard time deciding who’s going to win Super Bowl 50, perhaps you should watch this simulation of Super Bowl 50 from EA Sports Madden NFL 16.

In the simulation, Cam Newton and the Panthers jump out to a 17-0 lead at halftime. Peyton Manning and the Broncos surged back to take a 20-17 lead in the fourth quarter.

Then, with 42 seconds remaining in the game, Newton leads a championship drive capped off by a scramble and dive into the endzone for the game-winning touchdown. The scramble is capped off by one of Cam’s signature dives into the end zone.

According to EA Sports, Cam Newton finished the game simulation on 19/26 for 216 yards and passing TD and running TD. Peyton Manning finished the game going 21/37 for 241 yards and two touchdowns.

Now, these Madden Super Bowl simulations have been eerily accurate in the past. In last year’s EA Sports simulation, Madden 15 not only accurately predicted the winner of Super Bowl 49, but it also predicted the correct score (28-24 Patriots):

In reality Tom Brady threw for 335 yards and four touchdowns, in the Madden simulation, he threw for 328 yards and four touchdowns.

In the simulation and in the actual game, the Patriots trailed by 10 points in the third quarter before staging an amazing fourth quarter comeback that was capped off by a Julian Edelman game winning touchdown catch. Now obviously, Madden didn’t predict that Pete Carroll would throw the ball on the one-yard line and a guy named Malcolm Butler would INT the pass because well, Madden wouldn’t recommend you do that.

If the Madden simulation for Super Bowl 50 is anything similar to the actual game, I’d say the viewers would be pretty happy.
