McCourty Twins Not Likely To Visit Donald Trump At White House As Super Bowl Champions

And so it begins..

New England Patriots defensive back Devin McCourty said Monday that he won’t go to the White House if the Super Bowl 53 champions are invited by President Donald Trump, and his twin brother and teammate Jason said he highly doubts he would make the trip as well.

According to the Associated Press:

“A day after the Patriots beat the Los Angeles Rams for their sixth NFL title, Devin McCourty said flatly that he would not join the team for a White House visit.

His brother hedged only slightly.

“I haven’t thought about it, but I highly doubt it,” he said, at which point Devin playfully accused him of lying and Jason agreed there was virtually zero chance he would go.”

President Donald Trump made his preference clear about wanting the Patriots to win since he’s very close to owner Robert Kraft and QB Tom Brady.

He hosted the Pats back in 2017 when they won the Super Bowl.
