Miami Dolphins Converting Stadium Into Massive Drive-In Movie Theatre During Pandemic

With football season months away and the world currently fighting a pandemic, the Miami Dolphins are putting their stadium to good use.

Hard Rock Stadium announced plans to temporarily convert the 63,000 seat venue into a drive-in move theatre that will showcase select Miami Dolphins matchups from the team’s 54-year history, classic motion picture films, host commencement ceremonies and other events.

The team stated “The family friendly experiences will provide a unique environment while staying in accordance with social distance policies.”

Each event can hold up to 230 cars as well as space that can host small groups for an intimate, yet social distance compliant, viewing experience outside of their vehicles on the complex’s south plaza.
