I guess we’ll now see if Michael Irvin is a man of his word.
Ahead of the Patriots vs Texans Thursday Night game in Foxborough, the Hall of Fame Cowboys WR posted to Twitter that he would named his three Lombardi Super Bowl Trophies after Bill Belichick.
Irvin is referring to the mastermind behind the system in the New England that the Patriots coach has installed to that a rookie, third string QB, could simply come in and run the offense to a ‘T’, putting a beat-down on the Texans.
If @Patriots beat @HoustonTexans on @NFLTNF w the 3rd QB. I will take off Lombardi & call these The Belichick Trophy? pic.twitter.com/JX4mCamY8Q

The Patriots are of course now 3-0, all while being left with no Brady and no Garopplo.
